With the Holiday season right at our doorstep, what a better time to see what's going on and celebrate the season with friends and family. One of the best things about living in the Twin Cities area is that there are always things happening and adventures to be had! Here are just a few of our favorites coming this mid November-December.
1. 2022 HOLIDAZZLE IS BACK!
Starting November 25, this incredible experience will be happening every Friday to Sunday until December 18th. There are a ton of great shops, food and drink popups, and unique interactive experiences!
2. LAKES & LEGENDS BREWING: A HANDMADE HOLIDAY MARKET
Minneapolis Craft Market returns to Lakes & Legends Brewing Company in downtown Minneapolis!
Come to the stunning Loring Park tap room to visit with local artists and makers, while sipping delicious Lakes & Legends brews. The market is a one-stop shop for supporting local makers and starting your holiday gift shopping. There are an abundance of unique items and PLENTY of delicious beers on tap to try out!
3. A CHRISTMAS CAROL AT THE GUTHRIE THEATER!
This classic Christmas tale is surely worth the 3 ghosts! Guthrie Theater comes back again with their yearly play of A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens. Adapted by Lavina Jadhwani and directed by Joseph Haj, this family favorite started November 12th and will be running through December 31st. They have an assortment of times and dates available on their website. Visiting the Guthrie Theater during Christmas is a sight to behold with it's incredible views of Minneapolis!
4. THE HOLIDAY MARKET AT MALCOM YARDS
Enjoy supporting local this year at Malcom Yards as they host over 20 local makers at their holiday market! The market will be open December 10th-11th. It will be a great place to find those unique, handcrafted items for gifts or yourself! In addition to the shops, there will be plenty of great food stands and drink options available!
5. FESTIVE HOLIDAY LIGHTS TOUR
Come see the city all decked out in lights! Hosted by Twin Cites Sightseeing Tours, take a 1 hour tour of some of the best holiday lights in Minneapolis. Tours will be staring December 1 and running until the 23rd. You'll ride in comfort in your warm, heated coach bus while viewing twinkling lights and nibbling peppermint candy canes! A perfect time to relax and have fun with friends and family!
6. EUROPEAN CHRISTMAS MARKET AT UNION DEPOT IN ST. PAUL
This magical Christmas village returns to the Union Depot for another year of holiday fun! Starting every weekend from November 25th until December 18th, come and partake in this festive market reminiscent of the ones that spring up in Germany, Austria, and surrounding European countries during this time of year. There will be tons of local vendors, different food and drink stands, as well as entertainment.While you're there, don't forget to try the Glühwein!
