THANKFUL FOR MPLS

It's Thanksgiving weekend and after the crazy 18 months we have had, we here at TSSG wanted to take a moment to be thankful. Thankful that we can go to theaters again, thankful for an awesome group of residents in our buildings, and thankful that the holiday season this year will feel just a little more like "normal." So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, we wanted to share all the things TSSG is Thankful for happening right in your backyard - Minneapolis!

THANKFUL FOR BEER....AND YOGA

Sundays are for lazy mornings and easy flows. Especially after the amount of food we know you plan on consuming this weekend! This yoga class is set at one of our favorites, the European-style brew house, Utepils. After starting with a warm-up, moving to a gentle flow, and dancing through some yoga sequences, you will be ready to seize the day.

All humans and levels welcome just bring a mat and a smile.

THANKFUL FOR CHRISTMAS

The best way to end Thanksgiving weekend? Ringing in the holiday season with something we haven't been able to do for quite some time. See a show at the beloved Guthrie Theater! There is no better classic than A Christmas Carol, an annual tradition at the Guthrie. This year the show got a total refresh, with new costumes, props, lighting and sound design. You will come back for this show year after year, and best of all you'll be supporting an incredible theater that ha been a staple of Mpls for year.

THANKFUL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Looking for a way to give back this holiday season, not only to Minneapolis but to Minnesota as a whole? There are SO many volunteer opportunities all over our wonderful state, especially as we continue together through this pandemic. The link below provides a list of some non profits doing great things in all different areas of MN, so even if you are traveling to different regions to see family, there is something, somewhere, for you to get everyone in your group involved in!

One of The Stepping Stone Group's favorite non profits it, Hope 4 Youth. While they aren't listed at the link above, they are an amazing organization, focused on preventing homelessness in the young adult community, ages 16-24. If you don't have the extra time or funds to give, consider donating gently used clothing, hygiene products or non perishable food items to their main office.
